cosy, comfy, rammed earth cottages

nestled in the south west forest...

Luxurious linens, local soaps, a selection of teas, homemade dog treats, games and a fire always win me over.

We stayed in the Fuggles Cottages which is one of the studio cottages perfect for couples. There's more cottages too, some with more bedrooms plus The Homestead which sleeps up to 12 people.

The property is in Karridale surrounded by a mix of farmland and beautiful Karri forest. Each cottage has an entrance to the nature trails that wind through the forest and there's even a Scavenger Hunt set up for those staying with kids (or even big kids!).

You can book the 'outdoor bath experience' which was so dreamy and the highlight of our trip! The rain was honestly just an added bonus. Soaking in the hot water with a glass of bubbles, festoon lights draping from the trees, and an outdoor fire to sit by in-between

soaks was one of the most relaxing things I've ever done.

Glenarty Road (4 min drive away) A unique venue offering farm to table feasts, wines, and garden tours. We sat outside with Sauv with a glass of wine. Would love to come back and book a table for lunch!

Hamelin Bay Wines (4 min drive away) A cellar door set high on a hill overlooking the vineyards and valley, the view is stunning!

Alexander Bridge (6 min drive away) A picturesque spot to check out on the river. It is also a camping spot but has a day area and some small trails along the river. Perfect for a swim on warmer days, or perhaps your dog also doesn't care how cold it is for a dip!

Witchcliffe, Hamelin Bay and Augusta are all 15 minutes or less from the cottages too
